Rodeway Inn Meadowlands

Bed bugs. I didn't see them, but I feel them. I am completely covered feet to neck. Like over fifty bites, at least. It was dirty and stank, but I honestly didn't mind as I was relieved not to see any bugs. I guess I spoke too soon, because only when I got home I noticed that the itchiness I felt was bed bug bites. That's like my worst fear ever, I had to put all my nice clothes in the dryer but I'm still paranoid thinking they could have come with me. The staff were odd but kinda friendly. The elevator stank, was slow and felt unsafe. There were no stairs, and u had to walk through abandoned parking lots to get into the hotel as it's basically made to be entered only for car drivers. Though, one positive thing it was only 25 minutes away by bus from times square. And yes it was only between 15 and 25 minutes, despite people claiming it's longer. The bus was $2,70 per ride. I stayed in room 202.

How cheap it was

The dirt and filth. During cleaning i think they only clean the bed because theres so much dust and debris in the corners. Its disgusting. We also had a lot of random bitemarks all over our body’s we dont know if they are bed bugs but they can be any insect.

Estuvimos 2 noches y la verdad que bien, no hubo ruidos molestos, no vimos cucarachas, las camas eran cómodas, a la vuelta del hotel pasa el colectivo que te deja en manhattan por $4,10 y hay una especie de mall con varias casas de comida y un supermercado. Si lo que queres es visitar NYC y ahorrar en hospedaje para gastar en donde se requiere en verdad, este es el lugar.

Esta en remodelación y tenes que subir por la puerta de emergencia, es lo único que tiene hoy de malo.

Great value for money, helpful staff, if you want somewhere cheap and cheerful within good distance of Manhattan.

It's close to MetLife. There is absolutely nothing else that makes this place even remotely worth staying at. Especially for the price. Just stay literally anywhere else. Save yourself the headache...

Literally, everything about this hotel is awful with the exception of the location. There was mold on the shower curtain lining, the beds were uncomfortable, everything in the room is wonky or a bit off, and if an item isn't broken, it looks like you'll be the one to break it. The place is a dump. Oh, and the parking situation is atrocious.
