The Lalit Resort & Spa Bekal

Location is the key stealer of this property. They have access to the beach which is so clean and without crowd, that you will be the single person enjoying the pristine beach. Even the property running across the backwaters is so scenic, one can laze around and happily have some great memories. In fact the activities like fishing, kayaking, bamboo rafting, cycling were all so much enjoyable with family.

A property that offers exceptional value for the experience. Beautiful location by the backwaters and the sea with a surprisingly clean beach that feels almost private. The property is just the right size to be walkable and yet have the rooms be set far enough apart to feel private. Our deluxe/premium(?) backwater view room was huge with a bathroom that could have passed for a full size room in another city hotel. :) Breakfast had a pretty good spread and we enjoyed some of the local items we ordered for lunch/ dinner. Really attentive and friendly staff as well - shoutout to Chef Ravi and Vedant at the restaurant, Devashish with the buggy and the really sweet guards at the beach. The ultimate compliment I can give them is that my very very picky father had surprisingly little to complain about!

No real complaints, maybe a few minor suggestions which I will make to the hotel.

Hi All, Property location is good, near to beach and river.Biggest problem is cutlery cleaning at resturant. They give used cutleries(can see food particles on spoons/knife and raw stains on napkins) to people and i had to make them change 3-4times to get a neat and clean. Same happens in morning breakfast and evening hitea time, cups provided for Cornflakes were dirty and evening tea cups are cracked with black stains. Never expected such standard from a chain of hotels,really bad.

There is no proper cleaning done by restrurant which should improve. More food options must be there.. They dont serve hard drinks. Jacuzzi, they operate from front desk after we fill water and after several request they did not change water for my 3days stay.
