ibis Wuhan Hankou Hotel

helpful staff, managed to get a taxi for me and good general service. most staff speak english at least a little

The 8-nights stay at ibis Wuhan was great! The staffs are friendly and the hotel is clean. The metro station is just one bus stop away and within walking distance. Convenient to travel around.

Arrived really late due to the flight delay, but they still provide good service at the mid-night.

Good for the the price I paid.

This hotel would be perfect if only: 1) they actually enforced the No Smoking signs; as you probably know, everybody and their mothers smoke in China, however, this hotel has a no smoking sign in every public area. Too bad they never enforce it. In fact, they even promote smoking as the lobby has Tea service and they actually bring you ashtrays, despite the fact that the area has a very conspicuous NO SMOKING SIGN in it. I had to tell every smoker to put out their cigaettes, by pointing to the sign. But it gets tiring and bothersome to be the "bad guy." People smoke on their elevators too, despite the presence of big no smoking sign, even one time, there was a lady that worked for the hotel and this guy was smoking on the elevator, she did not say anything, so I had to point at the sign once again to make the guy stop. 2) if they changed the only song that is played on a loop over and over and over and over and over again; believe me, I stayed in this hotel 20 days, after the first week this gets to be extremely annoying, yes it is a soothing piano melody, but come on! the only song over and over again, at least change the freaking song every day, it's not that they don't have muzak in China, is it???? 3) aside from these annoying things, the hotel room was always clean, the service good, the breakfast was only 20 Yuan (about 6 Yuan per US dollar) and pretty good for the money.

The hotel was modern and the room was clean enough. Many local restaurants are in the vicinity but one needs to take a taxi to find western food choices. Hotel breakfast offers limited choices -- not really enough for a full meal, more like appetizers. A Lotus supermarket is within walking distance.

This hotel is not located in the CBD area. Not many taxi drivers know the location if you just show the street address to them. You have to tell the driver that the hotel is located next to "Wang Jia Duan Air Force Airport - Door No.1". Regarding the hotel, do not expect too much for the facilities in view of their very low and reasonable room rates. They provide only the basics including wifi in the lobby but not the room. The hotel only provide breakfast in the morning and no western choices, but it only costs you US$2.50 per person. You have to dine outside the hote. Overall, this hotel is a value-for-money choice.

I think The Ibis Hotel is very good and comfortable, easy to reach, and cheap.

The price is very economical, but at the same time the room was clean and comfortable. Although there are no frills, it was exactly what I wanted and needed to get a good night's rest after a long train trip. In addition to this the hotel is a short taxi ride to Hankou Railway Station, so it was very convenient. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

i try this hotel for first time and surprised to what i get it is good hotel to try , economy for small budget and not bad location, easy can discover around, and sity center is by walk 20 minutes in nice street
