Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Abuja

I like the fact that it has a sitting room for relaxation and guest. I understand that thw hotel has been around for a while, the management has done well with maintenance but there is need for improvement considering the trends and market competition.

The AC in the sitting room wasn't working well. I would have love if the bathing section had a closet. The wardrobe closet would have been proper if it was attached the room and not to the toilet. The bed should have been a 6by6 not 4by6.. The towel in the toilet is old and partly torn.

The hotel is at a nice location. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Nothing

The refrigerator didn’t work at all. The WiFi worked some of the time. The tv in the bedroom which worked by wifi rarely connected to the wifi. You couldn’t operate cell phones, my iPad or stream movies all the way through. The kitchen routinely ignored low spice preferences and left out ketchup often. The POS hand held device malfunctioned causing me to be billed five times for the same meal which I had to address with management on three separate occasions. The room service staff was very polite.

While the lobby area looks good, the rooms are tired and dirty. Fridges not working, our microwave did not have a glass plate to put a dish on.
