Whistler Village Centre by Whiski Jack

Located right in Whistler Village, so perfect from that perspective. Space to lounge & relax.

Bed was very uncomfortable. A bit like sleeping in a bouncy castle. Despite a very detailed summary of how to access the room, it was a bit like trying to get out of an escape room & when we finally accessed our designated parking floor the instructions didn’t mention you could park anywhere on that floor. We spent a frustratingly long time trying to find the parking space number which correlated to our room number. In the end we gave up & went up in one of the lifts & fortunately found a nice young woman on reception who told us we could park in any space. BTW, it’s all DIY accessing your room keys etc. & finding your way in.

Extremely small window in the room(4404), misunderstanding with the room number(I was able to enter someone else's room using the code sent via email) and had to make a phonecall to clarify my actual room number and code.

Directions to parking

Positives - unit had washer, dryer and dishwasher, kitchen is reasonably equipped; location is above Earls on the village stroll and close to restaurants, shops and ski lifts.

Negatives - mattress needs replacing, one of the bedside lights didn't work, unit is old and needs refresh, TV instructions were for a different remote and incomprehensible, couldn't find a hairdryer. Very difficult to find, difficult to get to parking from the unit, elevators are poor, dirty and smelly (parkade and unit), building corridor looked unclean.

Noticeable wear and tear particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. Blinds for the room should be updated/fixed.
