Braye Beach Hotel

The setting is amazing. The views from the rooms sublime. Lots of walking and not many peoples marvellous.,

Wow! Fantastic food and service.

I stayed at the hotel during my first visit to the Channel Isles and its location, comfort and staff contributed a great deal to the favourable impression I came away with.

This was a last minute booking to take in the Alderney Geocaching Fun Day but the choice of hotel was fantastic and certainly made the short break even more enjoyable, I will certainly be going back in the summer time with other members of my family. Courteous staff, excellent service and beautiful room overlooking the beach and of course being rewarded with a lovely sunrise in the morning. Superb island for a walking break too.

Location of hotel could not have been better with lovely views over Braye Beach. Attentive staff ensured stay very pleasant. The food was well cooked and presented. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was excellent, the food was too good, and Richard, the manager, was always available, attentive and charming. We look forward to returning next year.

Excellent hotel in fantastic location. Good food, good service, ensuring a really relaxing break. Would recommend paying the extra for the Super Platinum room if you can - very comfortable, spacious room where you can open the doors onto a mini balcony and breathe in all that lovely sea air!

Bland exterior to road misleading. Inside nicely appointed. Refined dining room, with fantastic balcony where meals and snacks can be taken. Staff very pleasant and unobtrusively attentive. Food good but menu would be monotonous at a long stay. Crab sandwiches at lunch are fantastic. Charming lounges on lower floor are underused and are next to nice private cinema. Location is great - at the end of a long sandy bay and a jetty with views of the harbour. Small island. Possible to walk most of it in a couple of days. Lots of WWII memerobelia and forts. Picuresque town is 1/2 mile up a steep hill but there is a bus in August. On some days there is a train to top of island. Shop with basics nearby.
