Ayodya Resort Bali

The beach was positioned at the bottom side of the resort past all the pools and entertainment areas. Lovley beach with some coral areas. A bit of rubbish in the water but fairly standard. The international breakfast was the best I have experienced, everything you could think of or want for breakfast. The pool facilities where large and clean with a lot of activities offered every day, the underwater propelled pool toys where a hit with the kids.

There was a fair amount of noise on the ground level before 9am most mornings, bumpy walking paths mixed with transport trolly's that have hard wheels. I think we may have been unlucky with our experience at the Teppanyaki restaurant as the Cheff was fairly new.

Niestety po sprzątaniu pokoju ukradziono Nam srebrny gruby łańcuszek z krzyżem.Wartosc bardzo sentymentalna.I to w przedostatni dzień super pobytu.Lancuszek zostawiliśmy na stole i ktoś go ukradł centralnie ze stołu.

My room was exceptional. Serviced promptly every day. Terrace was huge and nice view of the sea and the theatre! Palace staff were courteous, friendly and efficient - congratulations to all of them on providing an exceptional experience.

On my arrival, I went to main reception where there was some confusion but quickly resolved and a lift to the palace was arranged. Sumita at concierge chatted with me while things were being sorted. He found out I was Irish and travelling alone. I checked in at the Palace and as I was settling in, I got a call directly from Sumita that I had dropped an item and that he could drop it over. Great. What I didn't expect was he himself to arrive at my door. When I opened it, he handed me the item and asked "how is your room?" and basically just walked in without any permission from me. I did not really know what to do. He proceeded to walk through the room and out onto the terrace, having a good look around. When he returned into the room he turned and opened his arms out as if looking for a hug..? At his point I had become very uncomfortable and so just walked towards the door to show him out. This incident weighed heavily on my mind for the rest of the evening and all the following day. I eventually went to Palace front desk to report the encounter. I couldn't remember Sumita's name but told the lady at the desk the whole story. She did take my room number and said she would raise it with management. I didn't hear anything back from management 😕
