Bed was comfortable room size was good

Fridge didn’t work, no microwave when I arrived, building was a bit shabby so was parking lot. Breakfast was not satisfactory.

Located on the busy and vibrant Queens, there are a lot of shops and restaurants around. The staff are courteous and pleasant. The hotel has ice and vending machines available.

The initial room allocated needs some serious bathroom maintenance/upgrade. Bathtub drain was blocked, and the tub itself requires replacement.

They are still renovating and there are minor flaws, but overall a great stay at a great price. Very friendly and welcoming.

The place looked very clean. The beds were comfortable. It's in an easily accessible location with shops nearby.

I dusted. Old coat of dust on all surfaces. Long black hairs in bed. Caked up chamber of coffee maker where water goes. Hair and dirt in towel section under sink. Mould surrounding tub. Caked grunge in microwave. Lamps were unplugged and when plugged on in the socket was all loose and sparked twice. Broken hair dryer with fully caked dirt in the mesh, had to go buy one. No offer to immediately address, likely because I only there one night. My laptop refused to connect to the wifi stating unsafe with warnings I could not bypass. Normally the warnings are easy to bypass. This one was different than any I have seen. I voiced my complaints about the coffee maker and hair at the front desk as I went out to get coffee at 5:30am as there was no way I was using their coffee maker. Later I voiced the same concerns and included the hair dryer and microwave to a different person including that I would now have to go buy a hair dryer I do not need. The only response I got was that she would make the staff aware. Even after showing her pictures of everything. I said I think I deserve some form of compensation, particularly having slept in a dirty bed to wake up to someone elses hairs. She politely offered me a 10% discount on a future stay at their location. No thank you and definitely not a worthy compensation. I asked who I could speak to about this and she said the manager but that he was not available. She seemed very reluctant to give me his information and it was like prying teeth for her to finally give me his business card. I sent a respectful email to Sandy Dhaliwal, manager explaining everything and that I much prefer communication vs bad reviews. No response. Would not recommend. Ever.

Bed was comfortable and location was convenient. Room was not clean or ready for guests. Found a couple wads of someone else's hair on the floor. Hallways had debris and supplies scattered from "remodel" which in our room basically looked like painting over warped wood. No interior lock mechanism besides the deadbolt. Phone was incorrectly hooked up. Bathroom had no trash can or horizontal surfaces to put anything. Random hole in wall and paint job that looked like it was done by a teenager. Most of the staff I interacted with was kind. It was not much worse than what you would expect from a low-cost hotel. We were only there for a quick overnight so it was fine but I wouldn't probably spend multiple days there.

I didnt like the fact that the hotel is on renovation. The room prices should it be cheaper
