Room was clean, but too expensive

Breakfast area had several tip jars, yet no one working the breakfast area- Orange juice was water with a slight orange color. Apple juice was watered down. Air conditioner didn't work well

We stay La Quinta when we travel have a dog this room was or should have been unacceptable we should have ask for another room. We do have rewards card so this room was from rewards. The room was by the laundry it had no adequate lighting in it 2 very small useless lights between the bed no other lamps other than same black plastic light they got fromDollar General. The desk was broken no chair the furniture that was there looked like from 3 remodels ago.I talked to manger today his customer service was nonexistent told me room was standard room we have stayed at a lot of La Quinta,s this was never the standard room we get this was below pair on all counts..

Close to the interstate. Appeared to be in a nice part of town

The smell in the whole building was musty, covered up by bad sweet smelling air freshener.

It was clean and staff were polite and accommodating

No complaints
