The Hillcroft - Boutique, Unique

We changed rooms while here, initially in a King Room and then The India Suite. We preferred the size of the India Suite and having a separate lounge was a great space. The super king bed was HUGE. The owner was very accommodating of our request to move rooms and were nice and friendly.

The India Suite is in the basement and is very dark, coupled with an odd smell and a feeling of dampness. Sadly, Torquay has changed since we were last there, it's run-down and unappealing. The B&B was nice, but we wouldn't return to Torquay again.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Elain and Martin were very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. Location for us was very good because we love walking, and we enjoy Torquay and the surrounding area and coastline very much.

Amazing decoration in the Hotel, very chique boutique... Fantastic FULL English breakfast tailored to your liking. Great location in a 10 minute walking distance of everything you need in Central Torquay and a 5 minute drive to Paignton if you are a big kid or have kids and want to sit on the beach or play games. Plenty to do within a 20 minute drive too, Canonteign Waterfalls for example is an amazing day out... We WILL DEFINITELY be back. Had our own parking space and this is definitely a place I would NOT hesitate to recommend as it has ticked every box.... Everything was superb.... Warm and friendly atmosphere

Breakfast was very good. Piping hot, excellent quality and cooked perfectly. Location for our stay was great, within walking distance for both our evening out and shopping the next day.

For our short stay there was nothing to dislike
