The friendliness of the owners and the themed room's

Martyn and Elaine were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and the rooms were magnificent. The breakfast was delicious and the menu had everything. A real gem of a hotel run by lovely people who know what they’re doing.

Everything, Elaine and Martin are such lovely, friendly hosts. A cup of coffee on arrival, explaining where restaurants are, how to get around on the map. You can tell they care so much about there home and guests. Our bedroom was so lovely and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. Plenty toiletries in the bathroom. Lots of information in the bedroom where to find things eg hairdryer (which is a nice touch) Breakfast is good,lots of choice, cereals,yoghurts, fruit salad and of course a good old English breakfast if you want. There are also lighter options to choose from.

The fact that we had to leave to catch the ferry

lovely quirky design. very comfortable bed. all the amenities you could possibly need. the staff were 10/10 friendly with great recommendations on places to go and places to eat. breakfast was also very nice.

can’t fault the property they even moved their own personal car so our van could be parked safely. it is located up a hill or you struggle walking but they even explained a shortcut way back to avoid the larger inclines.

The location and facility was above and beyond!

Everything was perfect,one of the best we have stayed at in Torquay...lovely owners and nothing was too much trouble...outstanding..👌👌👌

My vegetarian breakfast was superb and my husband said his meat version was also great. The location was ten minutes from the front (up the hill, but most of Torquay is). The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful.
