Motel 6-Buttonwillow, CA Central

I haven’t stayed in the motel six for 30 years, so I decided that we would give it a shot again.There was no hot water. At best it was lukewarm and too cold to take a shower. .the pillows were very thin. in fact to get one normal size pillow you had to stack two together. No shampoo in the bathroom, just a little bar of soap. They had shampoo you can buy at the desk for five bucks. I usually stay at days Inn, which is five bucks. Staying at a Days Inn is $10 more but the experience is much better. So, I’ll never stay at a motel six again. The motel is right off the busy freeway. Loud.

Convenience location

I know that this is right beside i5 so i brought ear plugs hehe. I had a good night sleep after a warm bath. Blasted the aircon 61F. Everything was clean. I just suggest that they wipe also under the bed.

The staff was excellent. The exterior was in very good condition. The parking area was convenient. The room itself was satisfactory, however the mattress was broken down on the edge. The refrigerator was not secured, tipping out every time the door was opened.

The smoke alarm started chirping at 1:00 am. We vacated the premises

Driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Made a stop here around 12:30am for a break got a room woke up at 6:30am put gas , bought coffee and left at 7am for the road again. It is what it is, a rest area. Not bad and not great . But it was safe, no crack heads, no danger . Everyone minds their business .

I didn’t sleep all night because of the noise on the freeway!

It was the better Motel 6 in Buttonwillow on this truck stop route. All the other hotels on this strip are being occupied by the unhoused. Several fast food restaurant fill my needs when I’m stop here halfway to go to Soutern California

They have a great parking space

The positive: Affordable, the staff was very friendly, and it was quite while we were there. The negative: Our room was dirty, the lights for the parking lot are super bright (good to keep the car safe) and the light shines thru the sides of the curtains making it look like daylight shining thru all night....no one slept well because of this. My kids kept waking and thinking it was morning.
