Hotel Da Vinci

Just back from five days in Montecatini. It’s an excellent location for travel into Florence, Lucca and Pisa. Train travel is very reliable at cheap. €5.60 to Florence. Much easier than driving into the city. The hotel is located near to the town centre, a little noisy in the evening. However, closer to the restaurant. Fred Erika is worthy of a mention. She will advise you of the sights to see and how best to travel. Excellent all round.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Zentrums. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und von guter Qualität. Die Zimmer waren grosszügig mit allem, was es braucht ausgestattet. Abgesehen vom Empfang am ersten Tag was das Personal aufmerksam und teils sehr freundlich und humorvoll.

Wir sind mit einer Gruppe von 9 Personen angereist (Minibus mit Fahrradanhänger). Das Parkieren war daher nicht ganz einfach und dauerte etwas. Der Empfang an der Reception war frostig. Die Dame wirkte gestresst und unfreundlich. Sie zeigte den Parkplatz und liess uns dann stehen, bis sie alle Reisedokumente vorliegen hatte. Wir hatten vorgängig mit dem Hotel vereinbart, dass wir die Räder in einem geschlossenen Raum unterbringen können. Davon wollte die Dame zuerst nichts wissen. Sie sagte, das sein nicht ihr Problem. Sie musste sich dann doch darum kümmern und wir konnten unsere Räder dann sicher unterbringen.

Rooms, service, location and food was great. The only thing I’d note is there was no iron, only an ironing service. This meant you had to wait until the following day to get anything back.

Soggiorno positivo caratterizzato da una posizione funzionale agli spostamenti. Lo staff si è dimostrato cordiale e con una colazione eccellente, ben assortita e con prodotti freschi. Il comfort generale e il prezzo corretto rendono la struttura una scelta affidabile per un soggiorno.
