Kokkedal Slotshotel

Pris og kvalitet hører ikke sammen. Vi var de eneste gæster på et fuldstændigt menneske tomt slot. Telefon nummeret vi fik oplyst, var til en mand, der opholdt sig i den anden ende af landet. Ingen hjælp at hente. Mange mangler: intet wifi, intet fjernsyn, ingen room service, ingen restaurant, ingen bar, stort set intet af det, der står på hjemmesiden eller under "Hotels.com".

Mega fedt at være på et så autentisk ophold. Så flot og stilrent.

The historical value of the site and the surroundings. Linen was clean.

the first thing we experienced is staff didn't event know where the room was located, and didn't know anything about the surroundings as we missed the dinner (be aware this has to be booked up front) with the excuse - I just moved to the area, sorry I know nothing. Breakfast available from 08:00 am on - we had to leave before that. The windowsill in the room was a flies graveyard . rather discussing. I didn't' use the shower as I was afraid stepping into it - the linoleum was black in the corners of the shower. The light in the bathroom was going on/off at its own accord, the faucet in sink spayed water all over, the combination of all the extension cables was like something to LOL - what to say - sad impression. very sad indeed. which is a pity for such nice historical site. To less money/maintenance and too less love. I was staying in various renewed "Slots" in Denmark and this was by far the saddest experience.

I had made a reservation at Kokkedal Slotshotel by mistake in Jylland, not in Sjælland where there is a hotel by exact the same name. When I showed up it was too late to cancel in Jylland. I was told this is a known problem and happens quite often. After several calls to the hotel in Jylland I still could not get my money back. This is poor quality an service.

Skøn slot og stemning. Ligger lidt afsides. Tv virker ikke. Ok til pengene

Pool lukket mod forventning. Trist at bo i længe fremfor på selve slottet.

Again we were given the worst room in the hotel. I believe that happens when you book through a 3rd party site. Our room was next to the stairs and the large banquet space where a party was going on.

It is in a lovely location, a beautiful old castle, and is very charming, but the bathrooms could do with an update.

Bathrooms are very outdated

The bed was too small. The shower was too small. The bathroom was very old. My meat was not good prepared and nothing was done about this. I would have expected a cup of coffee or something.

Det var lidt af et tilfælde, at vi havnede på Kokkedal slot, men det bliver næppe vores sidste ophold her. En romantisk og historisk perle. Selv de små værelser er indrettet, så man ved, at man er på et slot. Morgenmaden var virkelig fin med et godt udvalg, og betjeningen var venlig og professionel.
