Manos Studios

As a solo traveller I stayed at Manos Studios for 4 days. Brilliant wee place, 2 minutes walk to supermarkets, restaurants and bus stop into main city. Five minutes walk to the beach. Transfer from/to airport about 20 - 30 minutes. Franciscos, the owner, very helpful with good English. I was on the 3rd floor and had no problem with wi-fi. Lovely and relaxing place - would defo rebook again and recommend to family/friends.

Excellent endroit, très belle piscine. Proprio très gentil et serviable. 30 minutes de Héraklion en bus no. 6. Mais secteur tranquille très près de la belle plage de Amoudara.Manque un peu d'accessoires pour la cuisine.

Chambre/studio spacieux et propre. Ravie d'avoir trouvé ce petit hôtel proche de toutes commodités et facile d'accès avec les bus de villes que je recommande car le taxi est vraiment cher.

He can recommend you what to do and where to go. He recommend us some beautiful beaches where you can see lots of fishes.

Der Studiobesitzer ist sehr zuvorkommend und unterstützend. Er erklärt Wege, Busverbindungen, etc.. Es herrscht eine familiäre Stimmung im Hotel.

Proximité plage Et piscine appréciable. La rue à proximité : pleins de commerces et de resto. Rue assez animé Sans pour autant etre bruyante. Bémol, Pour un hotel appartement le côté cuisine est un peu petit. Pas de réel table Pour manger. Je recommande plutot Pour les petits séjour.

If you contact the hotel prior to arrival they are very helpful with organising taxi's/ buses from the airport; if you have a late arrival I would definitely suggest letting them know as the reception isn't 24hrs. The hotel pool is really nice for a relax and the rooms are well equipped, though there was no chopping board in the room I stayed in. Cleaning happens twice a week and the staff are very good at working around your schedule as much as they can. The hotel is at the end of a little dead end road so it is quiet, however, the walls within the hotel are rather thin so you will very likely hear your fellow guests. The main road of Ammoudara is about 1-2 minutes from the hotel and has plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach is about 5-10minutes away and is beautiful, the water is generally warm but if there has been rough water you will find its a lot cooler. I highly recommend staying here, it is good for the price you will pay.

What makes this experience special is the special touch from the management. He had arranged for early check in despite that I am way too early for the check in time at 8am and late check out knowing that the ferry back was 9pm. The extra miles are greatly appreciated especially with the weather condition that day. Location is good where we are also 5 mins walk away from the beach with plenty of eateries jus outside on the main road
