HU- Central location. - Nice helpful staff. - Got early check in with no additional fee and got upgraded for superior room instead of the classic I originally booked. - The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Big TV. Spacious. - The possibility to use the sauna 24 hours and the option to take bathrobe from the closet next to it.
- The price was very high compared to prices in the city. I booked this place mainly for the sauna, but you can find hotels more or less on the same level in almost half the price and if you go to a spa in the city even every day you can save almost 40-50% of your stay if you book other 4* hotels in the center. At some point there was a 25% price drop but unfortunately I booked with no cancellation option. The hotel is good but not worth 103 Euros a night, therefore no VFM in my opinion. - You have to tell the receptionist in advance if you want to use the sauna and it takes 1 hour to get it ready. It made me use the sauna a lot less then I planned and the sauna was the main reason I booked this hotel. The stay wasn't bad so I gave it a good score, but I would give it 0.5 point less if it was optional. - The hotel has two wings, the sauna is located on the wing without a lift so you have to climb 3 floors in addition to get to it. - WiFi wasn't strong enough and for using some applications I had to use my own data (not only in the room also around the bar/lobby). - One of the windows wasn't well insulated so you could hear and feel the wind and the noises from the outside, luckily the hotel is located on a corner with not a lot of traffic/people so it wasn't too much of an issue. - My room windows were facing other rooms in the other wing it was a little bit weird.
ROUAROThe hotel is really well maintained, placed close to the city center but not on a busy street.
There was a misunderstanding with the rooms I reserved and one of the couple we were traveling to were told there's no room for them for the whole period and they need to accept a room for one night untill the next morning. Eventually, everything was set and they got their room but it was not next to us, as per my request.
