I stayed at The Guards Hotel in Edinburgh last week and had a really positive experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Haymarket, which made getting around the city really easy. Whether heading into the centre or arriving by train or tram, it’s very convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, which made a big difference. Check-in was smooth, and I felt well looked after. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. While the hotel isn’t the most modern, it was clean, warm, and good value for money—especially for Edinburgh. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. If you’re looking for a well-located, affordable place with a friendly atmosphere, it’s a solid choice.
