"Old and quaint"

8.0

After the pre joys hotel, the vista hill, this hotel was a lot smaller and a lot older. The shower LS ked pressure, the rooms small, and the taps would have enjoyed a make over. Having said that, it was more traditional Turkey - possibly how I initially thought it would be in Turkey - the reception and lounge area was lovely with a lot of mosaic work and traditional items on the tables - not stuck down. The waiter was attentive, the food was more traditional than the previous hotel. Had to pay for wifi but that's okay. A real key opened the doors. Had to hand key in when going out .. Unheard of these days. And when you spoke to the man behind the desk it felt like he was the owner. Sheets clean. Towels spotless white. Patio door broken. Would go back yes.

"Rip Off"

2.0

A family run hotel which apart from the barking dogs, car alarms going off and the chant from the Mosque at 5:30 every morning isn't too bad. The food is like with any other Turkish Hotel nothing ever matches so you have rice and noodles and spaghetti but nothing to go with it. You could put up staying in this place but then comes the worst part. They do not give you chits at the bar so when you check out it is their word against yours. We were ripped of at check out for £25 that we hadn't spent on drink, it was only when we were back on the coach that we discovered that everyone else had also been ripped off for a similar amount. So the guy on reception must have a Bentley in the car park. I wouldn't go back to this hotel as they can't be trusted.

""And Now Children.........""

6.0

Not a 4 star hotel as promised as part of the "5 star Cultural Tour in Turkey"offered by RSD.A Notice (one of many such) warned that"To bring foods from outside to hotel is important and not requested .Otherwise they would be taken by housekeeping and charged to your account.".This epitomized the welcome we received.Needless to say there were no drink making facilities in the rooms. The rooms were clean and the food acceptable; facilities were limited and the beach is a short walk away but is non descipt. At the end of October the whole area was neglected and dirty.

"A major disappointment"

4.0

In our recent trip to Turkey, we stayed at six different hotels in various locations, and Billurcu was the only hotel we were not happy with. Even though the hotel was not full, we were given room at the fifth floor, telling us that those rooms had the best views. The thing is that the elevator went up only to the fourth floor, as the fifth floor was more like an afterthought after the initial construction. The rooms were cramped, the AC was not powerful enough, and the receptionist just pretended to be friendly. It is far from the main drag of the Sarimsakli beach, if you wanted go for a walk. Even with the lower cost, it was not worth it.

"Very nice hotel"

8.0

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel on September. The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and they were doing their best to make customers feel good. Especially the reception staff were nice people. Even their warm attitude and smiling faces are worth to choose this hotel. Food was good and delicious. (Olives were not in good quality though. Ayvalık is famous with its olive. They have to find a better olive seller) Our room was clean. Though the location was a bit far from the city center it was good to have a 20 minutes walk along the Sarimsakli Beach under the cool breeze in the evenings. Prices are very reasonable so that I can say this is one of the best hotels which offers a perfect service with a low price.

"anonimo"

4.0

non è nella città di Ayvalik ma in una località a circa 5 chilometri. si presenta piuttosto anonimo e spoglio come un albergo sovietico. anche le stanze sono anonime nella stessa maniera
