The chalets were very outdated, lounge was uncomfortable fell into it, toilet bowl wasn’t cleaned on the outside, airconditioner only worked when on 22 so it was freezing. Pool was out of commission as a tree had fallen on the fence (quite a while ago) we were only told about it upon arrival, the pool was quite a way from the tree so could of been used if it had been maintained as it’s really warm up there. Could go on but disappointing on the bright side all of the staff were wonderful couldn’t fault them at all. We were offered a free breakfast and a dingy ride to rock hole which was appreciated. First night we couldn’t use any water so we’re given water to drink and we stepped outside in the rain to try and freshen up.

Close to tours, cafe, lookout, parking right outside chalet. Found a frog inside toilet though

Amazing value in a great location with adequate cooking facilities/utensils to accommodate up to 5 people. It was perfect for our needs (i.e. comfortable accommodation directly next to the Nitmiluk Tour Centre for early activities the next morning). It was a little confusing in regards to the check-in/check-out instructions provided online but the staff were always helpful in person so we had no issues. Would highly recommend (especially during the end of the dry season when the prices are very affordable).
We stayed at the Chalets in October for $300 / night. We would not stay here again, rather stay in Katherine. The chalet was clean but that was the only plus. The pool was disgusting - we swam once in 3 days as the water was milky white (and did not put our heads in the water in case we got ear infections). The communal BBQ area was dirty, semi functioning and the light was not working (found my hubby cooking out dinner by mobile phone torch light). The first BBQ area didn't have working BBQ's at all. The fridge did not work well (the freezer did, but if we had stayed for more than 2 nights some of our food would have perished). The mattress was not that comfortable, you could feel the coils. Towel has hole in it. There was no internet anywhere that we tried. Beautiful location, but Chalets quite terrible. Come on Nitmiluk Chalets, you can do better than this!! I seldom leave negative reviews, but for $300 a night this is TERRIBLE.
Great location near gorge but a little limited in terms of quality accommodation and nighttime dining options. Pool nice enough. You pay for the location and lack of competition not the amenities
