Liberty Mountain Lodging by Vail Resorts

Honestly everything about this property was amazing but what was absolutely astonishing, was the people and staff. The staff is just so joyful and amazing.

We stayed at the hotel here with family and it was so luxurious! I was very impressed with the lobby and with how quiet it was compared to the other lodge. It was also nice it had a bar and restaurant in the lobby. It was a very much needed weekend getaway

Extremely convenient. Nice bathroom. Only downside was music outside at ski area starting a little early in the am.

Placed in room in auxiliary building with plenty of room in main building, felt like second class guests because we booked through third party instead of directly with property

i liked how easily accessible everything was on the property.

i didn’t love my room. i felt like it was overpriced for a room that looked old and dingy. the shower in the room was pretty horrible. it sprayed every which way and soaked the floor. i was pretty upset that i had to dry the bathroom floor when i just wanted to have a relaxing trip.

People were great. Hot tub too cold and lots of kids. Pool too cold. Showers not hot enough. Sauna not hot enough. Towels were like sand paper. Probably won’t be back

Very comfortable, beautiful, close to the slopes. Friendly staff.

Restaurants and cafeterias could be better.

I left my boots at home and rather than just charging me for boots like they did years ago. They forced me to rent out a board, boots, helmet for 70 dollars. I could of got a whole new pair of boots for that price, Liberty/Vale will try to milk every penny they can and its a shame. Left a very bad taste in my mouth that they do not let you rent out individual pieces which obviously is due to them being cheap.

Employees were not aware of the resort schedules around the facility or resort. In addition of "zero" introduction of the facility. Meaning that you need to ask about where is breakfast, where is this place, etc. Other hotel I stayed on the past provide an complete upfront information about the hotel. Needed to go over different building and I received different information. It is an Ski/Snowboard Resort so people are expected to enjoy the mountain, but the Resort network was not working. Therefore, it is hard to communicate with people around the facility because mobile reception was not the best. The network issue was broad-up but they stated that they cannot do anything about it.

Nice, clean, great shower.

Bar was closed during day but was due to 6 inches of snow overnight.
