Just perfect

Booked a two room executive suite. Found out when we arrived that it had no a/c and wasn't available.

Nice pool, excellent staff! Needs met. All good. I did wash the dishes before use,.

Very old and bad maintained rooms, quite dirty, all kitchen stuff was sticky and dirty, you don't get anything to clean it, bedsheets are quite old and not very well clean, mattress is old and not in great shape, quite a lot of noise from the main road and shower is not very good. Staff is friendly, that's only positive I could say

Clean,cute, and affordable. Have had my friend stay there several times and she loves it. The manager Cindy is thoughtful and skilled at making you feel welcome

We have stayed here several times. We know the Inn is older however we have never been given a room that was so filthy. The whole room needs a Mr. Clean sponge taken to it to get the dirt off the walls, cabinets, appliances etc. the cabinets had dirt and dead bugs laying in it. It has not been wiped out in a very long time. Our room was considered a suite, I will be including pictures of the filthy dish wear. The skillet had caked on grease and other things. I would not even touch it. There was one utensil tossed into a dirty plastic bowl. I went to Wawa’s to get a cup and plastic ware. Too scared to touch anything in the cabinet. The bathroom door would not close and was in poor shape. I checked the bed to make sure there were no bugs. The bed was comfortable enough. The sofa was nice but it had sand on it, made for a gritty sit. Upon check out I asked the manager to look at the room. She said Oh, those are just gnats. I said the shelf has a layer of dirt and dead bugs. This has not been cleaned in a long time. Then I showed her the cookware. She said Those are not even ours. I’ll need to find out where those came from. I showed her the bathroom door. She said there must be a little moisture. I showed her all the dirt on the walls. She said there was someone other than her doing the cleaning. Not even an I’m sorry the room is filthy. Why didn’t we leave? Christmas Eve and no where else to go.

Nothing worked no power on ac completely dirty I didn’t even stay 1 min, rather sleep on the ground. Homeless people have better living then this.

The people at My Sarasota Getaway are super nice (ask for Cindy!). The place has a pleasantly informal, non-corporate, old-Florida vibe, which we LOVED. Our room was clean, they have comfortable beds, hot showers, great cable, a pool (didn't use), location is very convenient, close to gorgeous beaches and good food stores, etc. Rates were fair vs other places. If you're coming here on vacation I would fully recommend this place.
