NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Resort

The cabin was clean, spacious, comfy, easy to get to and had great views. We also used one of the public camp kitchen areas and it was clean and easy to use. Kids loved the water play area and jumping pillow.

Only complaint I have is they closed the jumping pillow and water play area quite early which meant there wasn’t much for kids to do. I can maybe understand the water area but the jumping pillow had a heap of kids playing in the area and they came in and told them all to leave and closed it all up. Maybe leave it open til 7pm so kids can get the last of their energy out. Also the swimming pool area was freezing. The water play area was warm but the swimming area wasn’t usable due to water being so so cold.

Flat out refused to let me check out 1 hour late despite the park being empty. I simply asked if they could clean a couple of other cabins before mine (as they obviously cannot clean every single cabin at the exact same time!) as my flight was hours later and I had arrived late the night before. Would not consider it at all which was just ridiculous. I would fully understand if the park was busy and/or a holiday period but not mid week and empty. There was also zero wifi whatsoever. Could not pick up the network at all on any device so had to hotspot of my phone the whole time. I also went to check out the scenery/view before I left (as I arrived in the dark) so did not reach reception until about 15 minutes after check out and they were already ringing me to find out if I'd left the room! Unbelievable!!!! Terrible customer service only 1 week after receiving outstanding customer service at a different NRMA park. Very disappointed especially as an NRMA member.
