Dog friendly. Clean and tidy. Staff were superb. Lovely walk to the back of the hotel.

The room was redicously warm. Once windows open and radiators turned off, it It took all night to get to a comfortable temperature. Hardly slept. There was a fan in the room, so used that to circulate the warm air.

Room far too hot and despite valiant efforts of staff could not be cooled. Bank holiday and no food available- no advance warning

"Lovely hotel with a great Breakfast, but just so so hot!"

Location , cleanliness and breakfast

The room was so so hot. Iv stayed here a few times and each time has been to the same. I needed fan on all night, that made a clicking noise

"Good for an overnight stay"

As you would expect from a large hotel. Staff were very friendly, food was tasty and good.

Bit out of town along busy roads, we were on foot from the train station. Dog fee of £15 per dog always seems excessive but standard for many hotels.

"Good value but fairly basic."

Very friendly staff & a pretty location. Easily accessible from the motorway & plenty of parking. Comfortable bed & plenty of hot water & nice toiletries.

Bathroom a bit small, shower wasn't very powerful & neither the bath nor the sink drained very well. The hotel overall could do with a refurbishment.
