Eight Hotel Paraggi

The property is beautiful and the beach club was absolutely amazing! Very nice staff, always helpful.

We booked two rooms one standard and one delux for 1500+EU per night. After taking our money upfront, we arrived to see that we are given two rooms so small they could not fit a queen bed. One room has a basically no window and the delux was actually a attic room with two separate twin beds that could not even be joined due to roof design and had a bathtub looking balcony. In short nothing like you would expect in a hotel priced like first class. We requested room change, they said that they have one other room which is even smaller. No view. No parking either. Turns out that they had only 12 rooms to begin with. We protested and told them that there is no way this family of 4 can stay here, wanted to go to another hotel. They said it is our choice, but they will not refund the money for two nights. We asked Hotels.com to interfere and after long discussions, they told us that they accepted not to charge. We found a nearby dream hotel for 500EU less which was perfect with beautiful rooms and great view self parking. It was clear that the hotel they tried to get us in is not standard for the location. It was a bad deal. Later I saw that we were charged for the rooms anyway and now working with credit card company to get credit. In short they may have few rooms that are good, but you may get the other awful rooms for such a high price. Be careful don't prepay.

We stayed here for one night and had an incredible time! The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are modern and clean, and the setting is beautiful - plus Portofino is only a 20 minute walk away.

Great hotel, small rooms, otherwise great. Staff and cleanliness was good, rooms were small and food was expensive. Breakfast was good though.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is incredibly attentive. When we return we will only stay at this property.

Hotel was really nice. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The beach is small but enjoyed spending time there. The room is quite small! We had a cot for my daughter and there was no space to move. Very close to Portofino and it takes 15 to walk. The hotel provides a shuttle but doesn't run after 10:45. The taxi wanted 45 euros to take u back which wasn't more than 1 mile away.

Eight Hotel was the most relaxing part of our holiday. We had been traveling almost 3 weeks, with our two teenagers, through Italy and staying here was THE best part of the holiday. The staff was impeccable. The check-in was effortless. We were greeted with a glass of Prosseco and they upgraded my and my husband's room. It is close to Portofino and Santa Margherita. They are located on the water with their own private beach area. Lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels complimentary for hotel guests. It is a small, luxury hotel with only 12 rooms total. Quiet and in the perfect location.
