Kriti Beach Hotel

Check in was a cluster. I got a "side sea view" room, which was $$, and I got a room that has ZERO sea view and they kept trying to say I got an upgrade to a "suite" (which it was not). I wanted water, I got none, and they insisted, rudely, that I was in the wrong. Eventually they changed me to a side sea view. IMO there is NO WAY this is a 4-5 star resort. 2 at best. Seems like a cheap motel with a nice restaurant and pool with sea front views.

Nice location. We enjoyed our days by the pool and on the beach. Air conditioner was fabulous, we could get the room ice cold! Short walk to old town. Gorgona restaurant next door was our favourite place to eat. Hotel’s piccolo was very friendly and helpful. Extra points to him.

Location is great, near harbor and old town within 5-10min walking distance

Hotel sits over the road from the beach. A friendly staff welcome you to the hotel and look after you during your stay. Public rooms are light and airy. The lifts are small and somewhat claustrophobic and I preferred the stairs, kept me fit. The pools are plunge not exercise pools. The sunbathing areas are limited and adjacent to noisy and busy streets. The hotel provide sun loungers which are staffed and food and drink can be delivered by staff to the beach. The swimming is safe and enjoyable. There is a range of water sports that can be accessed from local suppliers. The rooms are quite small as is the balcony and if you like to spend time in your room it is doable but not the most comfortable. A good size bathroom with a powerful and good shower. The rooms are cleaned daily , just as well as if you come off the beach you will drop sand on the tile floors. There is a great range of bars and restaurants local to the hotel. The marina , harbour and old town are in an easy walk from the hotel. There is a good range of stuff shops bars and tavernas offering a good selection of meals. Most places are reasonably priced though caution needs to be taken when eating at the harbour.
