The bathroom was outdated but very adequate and clean. Shower was over the bath rather than a separate shower

Kitchen was attractive and functional including a microwave dish and chop board . Great location , close to Salamanca and not far to Woollies for provisions or Salamanca fresh

LIFT NOT WORKING AND ROOM on 4th floor 80 steps ???!!? A few days prior my stay I got told the lift was out of service and staff would help. Problem is reception hours 7 am to 8pm you get there after or want to leave prior , bad luck. Luckily on the way in I got there before 8pm but the man on service just told me lifts were out and didn't offer to take them up. I told him he was supposed to do so he did. Too hard on way out to organise so did myself. I was so tired after the flight and then getting up to Woollies to get some food and eat that I couldn't face going out knowing I had to climb the 80 steps again so I stayed in ! Interestingly a person on more tour got the same email the same timing before her stay which was after the tour not prior, I wonder how long this has been going on and I SUSPECT they don't give you enough notice to book somewhere else so I recommend checking the lift status by phone call The contrast was extreme to Hotel Grand Chancellor which was very polished and friendly with great service and cheaper

The property was clean and comfortable and we all had the best night’s sleep in those amazing beds. The staff were attentive and helpful and we really appreciated them storing our luggage till our return stay while we walked the Three Capes Track.

The guy at reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy.

Neither the lift, nor the spa in the room, nor the washing machine in the laundry was working!
