"Peaceful get away in centuries old Spanish mansion was an amazing experience."

Amazing Spanish Chateau type experience, tree-lined driveway gives way to a centuries old (family-run) Inn, parking on site, walkable to restaurants, views spectacular, large grounds to roam, and common areas and balconies for relaxing, breakfast was great too.

Can't really think of anything big that was missing.

Beautifully maintained with very friendly staff. Spending a day there could even be more enjoyable than Barcelona.

Commuting to Barcelona is challenging if you don’t have a vehicle.

"For us this is the only place to stay as a base for relaxing and touring Barcelona and the local area."

Gorgeous historic building on extensive grounds. Well appointed rooms with links to patios, terraces, and many lounges and reading rooms. Stunning breakfast patio with views. Breakfast was generous and great value.

Gorgeous setting Nice rooms Lovely breakfast with a pleasant host

Location required driving No information regarding transport at night. No night bus to the area from main town.
