"A friendly welcome, a grand place to stop over, really enjoyed."

The house had a wonderful traditional, old world feel and was tastefully furnished. The room was large and everything was clean. We were given a warm welcome by the host who was very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The private parking was a bonus! The garden and pool area was a lovely setting.

Slight noise from traffic on main road, but this didn't keep us awake!

Alles. Das Zimmer, die ganze Anlage und die tollen Gastgeber - ein sehr sympathisches Pärchen aus Frankreich. Nicht zu vergessen...das tolle Frühstück!

"Given the price point, we expected a higher standard. While there were some positives, the overall experience did not me"

• Secure and convenient parking available • Rooms cleaned daily

• Inconsistent cold water for several days, making showering impossible • Issue reported but not effectively resolved; suggested fix (“pull the tap”) did not work • Alternative room only offered after we decided to leave • No coffee maker in room despite being advertised (a kettle is not a coffee maker) • No evident garden view as expected • Towels were very small • No compensation offered after checking out one night early due to ongoing water issue

"Gediegenes Guesthouse"

Sehr schönes altes gediegenes Guesthouse, unser Zimmer war sehr groß und wunderschön eingerichtet. Die großzügige Gartenanlage mit Pool und Liegen laden zum relaxen. Wir wünschen den neuen Besitzern, Christopher und Elodie alles Gute, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

"Victorian Quirk in great location"

Great position with many restaurants within walking distance. Lovely new owners. Big rooms. Big grounds.

This is a quirky Victorian house. So rooms are dark.
