Beautiful, peaceful location. Meals were to incredible and decor impeccable. The staff were amazing! For most of our time there our host was Charles. Polite, friendly and very helpful he was an absolute credit to the business!!

No aircon - it was very hot - would have been more comfortable if the rooms had aircon and the dining area

This is our third time here and loved every minute, from the staff, to the rooms, pool area and especially the food. It really was exceptional.

We would have loved air conditioning in our room rather than just a ceiling fan especially in the summer months but otherwise it was super.

For the amount paid we would have expected air conditioning, complementary water and perhaps more attention to detail: ie fresh orange juice, better bread & less oil on the the breakfast plate.

An absolute find in this beautiful part of the Karoo. The atmosphere and style is that of a traditional Game Lodge. The food is excellent with a team to match. There are several designated walks within the estate for all levels of ability. The one thing we noticed is how immaculately clean the whole place was, with the pool being the cleanest we've experienced throughout our travels in SA. The only downside is that there is no A/C in the bedrooms (there's a ceiling fan), which can make it a little hot during the night. I guess one could open the windows and allow the air in, but the mosquitos tend to come along too.
