This is a little gem of a hotel in Miraflores, Lima, Peru. All the staff an especially Michael were so friendly and helpful. Clean, tidy rooms, nice breakfast every morning. Girasoles hotel is located in a family area with a park 1/2 a block away. It’s near, but not on the highway. Your room windows open (!) to the fresh air and the rainforest type shower has plenty of hot or cold water. The beds are clean and very comfortable. In Lima you shouldn’t drink the water, so they installed a free, fresh water machine on the 3rd floor. Super friendly staff, great location in Miraflores, 24 hr security and very clean and tidy rooms. Luxury hotel no, but I can’t imagine you could find a better mid-class hotel value than Girasoles. In short, this is the type of friendly hospitality which every hotel should mimic!
