Tussock Grove Boutique Hotel

Very warm and clean. Bed was Very comfortable Ideal for one person Would be nice to have a toaster. Walls very thin so could hear the neighbours

Very nice motel which is on two floors with the bedroom upstairs with a lounge and bathroom down stairs. The owner and his dog were very friendly. It also had a communal hot tube. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance (15min). 

The bedroom and tv are upstairs, the bathroom downstairs. There was no heating to use at night when it was cold, there are no extractor fans and the place smelt mouldy, in fact I could see mould above the shower. There is also evidence of water leaking out of the shower as the skiting boards are swollen in places.

Staff were friendly and really helpful. Everything was clean. Place is just a bit tired and could do with a refresh.

Hotel was great! Easy to find and the proprietor was friendly and had our room ready. Views of the volcanos were incredible.

The only problem for us was that the bed was upstairs and the toilet downstairs. This is apparently the setup in all the rooms. My wife has difficulty with stairs. The venue is clean and the staff friendly

Room was nice and warm, just right for what we needed in an over night stay.
