Resort Palace Sestriere 1 E 2

The best thing about this stay is that it is the village of Sestriere and not so far from the slopes. About 900m walk but there is a bus that passes by. Downstairs there is a bar where they speak English and it is open till 24hr. Very nice balcony view and big balcony.

The furniture and the rooms didn't change since the olympic games. The basic are present for a kitchen but no oven to warm up a meal. No glasses for wine. Bathroom very small. Rooms are noisy, you can hear your Italian neighbours talking (jelling). Decent internet only in the bar downstairs. Everything costs extra money Darts or Gym need to pay extra. Limited sauna usage hours and expensive compared to other hotels with modern sauna. "The Grand Hotel Sestriere". The elevator is very small 1 person with luggage and very slow.

The view from the room was the best thing about the accomodation. The rest is decent.

the room a bit old; no kitchen soap available to wash the dishes - the whole thing could do with a bit of a revamp

Everything you need under one comfortable roof. Good value, very friendly staff and decent restaurant. Well worth the money.

Slightly far from town and the bus wasn’t frequent or reliable.
