Maribel Hotel

Location was good but not ski in ski out as advertised. The balcony was nice with a good view of the mountains. Breakfast staff were really nice and remembered our drink orders everyday. Ski locker was nice and lockable.

There was a 25 euro charge per person per day for the sauna and 12 euros per day for the underground parking (only 7 spots outside) which were advertised as included. I was not told about the underground parking and was told only once I'd parked there and told if there's none outside that's not their problem. Not ski in ski out as advertised, 30 minute walk back from the gondola. Breakfast food was often stale and dry, with the same stale bread and cake put out for 4 days in a row. Seemed on a mission to save electricity, the toilet light would switch off after about 30 seconds which was on a motion sensor, the mini fridge could only be turned on by request and the only working plug in the room was for the main light, meaning it was very dark if you wanted to charge your phone. What looks to be a hot tub in the pictures is luke warm at best, with half the jet features not working. No kettle in the room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was not so clear policy about usage of wellness center and spa. The water temperature in the swimming pool expected to be warmer.
