"A great overnight place to stay in Christchurch"

We needed somewhere to stay before taking the train to Greymouth early in the morning. This was perfect. 10min from the railway station and easy walking distance to the Riccarton mall. * Room clean ,comfortable and warm * Very good internet- Able to complete all the work I needed to * Excellent shower -great pressure and plenty of hot water- 10/10 * Bed both comfortable and warm. * Bed has a electric blanket - was nice on a cold evening * Owner helpful with good accurate information * Nearby Riccarton has everything you could need for a stay in Christchurch. For a quick meal try the roast shop near the movie theatre- Lovely ,well cooked food. Vegetarian option amazing. * Reasonably priced motel and would stay again if back in Christchurch.

The location is great. The main property is of a modern, clean standard. The owner is very personable. On our return visit, we were moved to a different room than booked - a block of flats out the back of the property. Whilst this was well equipped, the standard was not as good.

"Lost stuff in motel "

Title self explained . Left my toothbrush case there, nobody call me after finding it. When I called back， the person answered the home telling that will call be back. After three hours , I have to call back to find out. They have discarded into rubbish bin, then they suggested me that they will find it in rubbish bin. It is ridiculous, it is a toothbrush case. Can I used it after that?
