Candlewood Suites Minot by IHG

It was a bad experience. I stayed 9 days. No housekeeping the entire time. Garbage was piled up. Was told I had to clean and put it outside my door. No linen change. Ran out of body wash and no one at the desk from 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm even though I called numerous times and even went to the desk personally. No one there. Will never stay there again

Pet area for my dog to go potty. It was very spacious. Most hotels don't have that much space. The location felt safe. Close to Walmart and lots of easy to grab fast food places. I got a one bedroom king suite that had a pull out bed for my kids. The bed was very comfortable and I slept great. Nice having a kitchen. At first I didn't think they provided any dishes but they were all in the dishwasher and I didn't think to look till the very end. They have a convenient grab and go store you can get what you need down by the front desk and laundry facilities.

The phone in my room was broken and didn't work so when I needed something I just had to walk down to the front desk.

The hotel had everything you could need, very nice clean and room. The hotel was a quiet and located in a nice area of town

I enjoyed my stay at Candlewood. The staff was very inviting and helpful when I needed amenities. The room and guest areas were very clean and inviting. Shopping and dining is easily accessible with a short drive. Looking forward to my next stay.

My husband is a gold member with IHG and we got a good price to stay the weekend here to watch our daughter play softball for Minot. We walked in and the gal that helped us smelled like she just got done smoking pot. When we got up to our room it was ice cold. It took 15 minutes for it to warm up and the weekend we were there it was particularly cold. The only chair in the room was an office chair and it was ripped. The bed was so uncomfortable that I had to get a chiropractor adjustment immediately upon getting home. If we hadn’t pre paid for our stay, we would have checked out and gone somewhere else. We will be choosing other IHG properties for future stays in Minot.

This hotel was clean and the bathrooms, showers, and bed were in good shape. The chairs need replacement mine had several holes in it and my couch also had holes. I was surprised they had no breakfast

Room was extremely run down - I’ve attached a photo. She said it’s because we had a pet with us. I advised her that we have stayed in candlewood before on our trip across the country and no other room was like this. She said nothing she could do. Won’t stay here- run down hotel
