"Clean, comfy, and light with helpful staff"

The room was light and clean. The last hotel we stayed at in Jacksonville was dark and we didn’t like it. This one is much better. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the lady in the breakfast area. Checkin/out was easy. We had a late arrival, no problem. We didn’t use the pool but that area looked nice. There was a Keurig in the room and plenty of closet space - it had a closet and armoire - an iron, hairdryer, and a sofa. We had the Queen suite. The beds were comfortable.

The thermostat was set at 60 when we came in. It felt like a meat locker. When we went to bed, it was comfortable but the mattress was about 15” high. I’m 5’4”, so I had to hop to get on it. An elderly person might have trouble there. There were lots of nightlights, so we covered and unplugged things to make it darker.
