Yıldönümümüz dolayısıyla traditional suitte 1 gece konakladık. Aynı zamanda restaurantında da yemek yedik. Her şey mükemmeldi. Odamız genişti, otantikliği çok hoştu. Hamamı olmasından ötürü -1. Kattaydı fakat üzeri yansıtmalı ayna ile örtülü balkon detayı ile asla basık hissettirmedi. Çok hoşuma gitti. Oda tertemizdi ve şampuanından sabununa suyundan havlusuna her şey eksiksizdi ve ponza taşı kese bile hediye olarak konulmuştu. Biz hamamdaki havuzu jakuzi gibi kullandık. İnanılmaz rahatlatıcıydı. Sıcak su boldu hiç sorun yaşamadık. Oda servisi 7/24 açıktı ve çok ilgiliydiler. Restaurantına gelecek olursam biz kitap evi şef steak ve yunan salatası tercih ettik. Porsiyonlar büyük, doyurucu ve çok lezzetliydi. Etin sosuna bayıldım. Meyve kahve ikramları da oldu. Garsonlar çok ilgiliydi. Sabahki kahvaltı da çeşit boldu ve çok lezzetliydi. Otelin konumu çok güzel, bahçesi bol yeşillikli ve otantik olmasıyla çok çok hoşumuza gitti. Ellerinize emeğinize sağlık. Kesinlikle bir daha geleceğiz. Gözünüz kapalı tercih edebilirsiniz.

What a superb and characterful place to stay in lovely Bursa. A former book shop, the hotel twists around a central stair case with a great garden or breakfast and. drinks. Lunch and dinner is also rather wonderful and out of the ordinary. We took a room with its own hammam and of course it wasn't cheap, but you can't put a price on bliss. And the host and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Just brow is the great mosque and the covered bazaar. What fun!!

This is an historic building within the ancient walls of the city. Therefore, driving there can be difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom has been modernized, but the rooms are old and historic.

my 3rd time there. it was great as usual. terrific location, super helpful, friendly staff and lovely boutique hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and spectacular views over the old city and the great Ulu Camii.

This is an old hotel that has seen better days. It would have been a majestic building back in the day, but for modern day comfort, it has some work to do. I can totally understand people coming here for nostalgic reasons, but the bed amongst other facilities are quite dated. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the parking for the hotel which is literally in a narrow alley (with extremely limited spaces) is quite challenging.

Kitapevi was the most charming boutique hotel we had ever stayed in Turkey. As soon as we stepped in, we got dragged into the magic of this historical Ottoman house. Mr Harun welcomed us in such a warm way and accommodated my mother’s knee problem in the most generous way of offering a suite on the entrance floor free of charge. A beautiful man indeed. Mr Kılıç gave us a great help with all the luggage and finally Mr Murat made us feel like we were visiting an old friend with a genuine kind heart who we had reunited after a long time. And the breakfast, you need to experience it! Thanks to Ms Mizgin and Mr Furkan :) Kitapevi will be our home in Bursa.

Not a single thing!

The old style was wonderful. The staff were very nice.

Difficult to get to if you’re driving. The closest you can get to by car is about 50 meters away.
