The Provincetown Hotel at Gabriel's

We stayed in the Ariel room. The room is spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The private terrace is a bonus.

I found the bed was very uncomfortable. I found out later from frequent guests. It’s always been a complaint here at the Gabriel.

Great location and excellent staff but my particular room was really noisy. From unit above and near the gate that was slamming. Lot's of dogs barking. Unfortunate but because of this I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed at Gabriel’s for a week at the beginning of June 2025, with our Shih Tzu puppy, in the Willow suite. The service was unbelievable. Patricia was the most perfect host, nothing was too much trouble and she sorted out a whole lot of things for us which were way beyond what could reasonably have been expected, and we are so grateful to her and to Gabriel‘s. We are already planning a trip back later this year! The other staff at the property are also great, always friendly and attentive, and anyone staying here will have the most fantastic time. Gabriel’s is located extremely conveniently to Commercial Street with all of the restaurants and other evening activities, it could not be more central - right next to the monument! I highly recommend Gabriel‘s. It is the most amazing place, in large parts because of Patricia’s involvement with the property.

This is a nice, well-situated hotel very close to the main drag and yet with a secluded feeling. The room (Virginia Woolf) was very clean and had character and charm despite a smallish TV and a bit of a cramped flow around the bed to the bathroom. We loved the Zen garden and the real utensils, mugs, and plates provided in the room. A grocery store with newspapers is about a 10-minute walk away through a beautiful part of town. The wifi, however, was a bit of a mess; it was hard to get connected and stay connected, and it kept switching on and off. We were told that the hotel was transitioning the password, but the situation lasted the whole of our stay. I also wish the hotel had clear information about breakfast on its homepage or somewhere findable on the site. I saw from some reviews that Gabriel's offers breakfast, and I read somewhere about vouchers in the off-season, but the person at the desk had no idea what I was talking about. Please add a sentence or two in a prominent spot on the website about what the breakfast situation is; even if this info is somewhere, it's hard to find, and it would be good for there to be some clarity. Other than that, this is a beautiful spot and very nice for a night or two.

Location, ambience, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere and staff. Highly recommended.
