Very close to town, quiet and relaxing. Allie was a very kind and welcoming host. Rooms very nice and clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We plan to go back :)

Ally is the consummate host. She greeted us by name with team and cookies, helped to orient us to the inn and to the neighborhood, and made us fee at home. Dresden is a very small but very interesting city as the longtime center of basketry. home of The home is large and comfortable with lovely outdoor space. The other guests were visiting the nearby Columbus Zoo and Roscoe Village. I highly recommend this oasis and will return.

Very historic place, well taken care of. Tea, cocoa, and coffee served every morning and evening in the den. Books, checkers, TV and piano to stay entertained. Delicious breakfast in the morning. For the most part, a wonderful stay. We were surprised, however, to find 4 animals living in the home, including an old bulldog that snapped at my young daughter. Regardless, the home was nice, clean and accommodating. We would stay again.

Allison and Marin were fantastic hosts. The communication prior was fantastic. They wanted to make sure all was perfect for us. The Pines was filled, so we stayed nearby at The Ivy. It was a great, quiet getaway for us. Just what we needed. The breakfasts at The Pines were fabulous. Marin worked magic with the food. Allison made sure everyone was comfortable and helped facilitate conversation. Dresden is a small, quiet town with local flavor. If you want quiet, this is for you. Local history attractions (Roscoe Village) and Longaberger (baskets) nearby. We ate at the Warehouse and Creno's Pizza. Good food. Joined the locals at the high school football game on Friday night. Give The Pines and The Ivy a look if you're in the area. Definitely worth it. P.S. The only downside was the hard bed, but that could be changing soon.

My husband and I spent a week at the Pines of Dresden and enjoyed every bit of it. Truly feels like a home, the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, breakfasts are amazing, and everything you need is there. It is a wonderful house with a lot of history and the owners can tell you a lot about the area and good places to visit. Really felt like staying with friends!
