I was there for a concert at the Pete. It was a car walk, but I felt safe the entire way home at 1130pm. Also the staff was more than nice.

The hotel staff were so accommodating. Room was large and comfortable. Morning breakfast was very good with a nice variety of foods. This was my fault for not researching enough, but there was no pool for the children to enjoy and wasn't aware that there was a parking fee with taxes!

-The front desk staff was friendly -The breakfast was alright -room.was spacious

1. You could clearly see where dirty water was pushed around on the bathroom floor and left to dry behind the door. 2. Homeless people's tents were camped right out front of the doors 3. Having to pay for parking when we were staying at the hotel is outrageous 4. We didn't get clean towels brought to our room we had to go down and ask for them

SpringHill Suites Southside was a decent option for a quick trip. The suite was roomy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. The location is convenient but can be a little noisy at night due to the rail road.
