Park Hotel Mirabeau

Found this hotel on the internet and decided to give it a try because of the high rating. We were originally looking for something right in Soverato. We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It is sparkling clean, with a lovely pool. From the terrace you can see the ocean in the distance. The hotel is only six or seven years old, so everything is in great condition. It was a little difficult to find, because the GPS in the car did not recognize the street. So get a map from the internet, and note the intersections in Pilinga (even though it says Gasperina). The breakfast was great, with fantastically fast machines that brew excellent coffee of every variety. The croissants were ultra fresh. A selection of meats, cheese, cereals, and coffee cakes/tarts. Rooms were cleaned an all towels and drinking cups replaced. We will definitely come back at some point, and next time will reserve a room with a balcony.

Hotel bellissimo, personale cordiale e gentile, animazione simpatica, ottimo la piscina. L'hotel dispone di un lido bellissimo con servizio navetta incluso.

Personal war für Wünsche oder Bedürfnisse sehr offen. Einmal haben wir sogar vergessen den Safe abzuschliessen, darin war vor allem Bargeld versorgt. Es wurde aber zum Glück nichts entwendet. Das Essen schien mir, trotz Buffet, zu wenig abwechslungsreich. Vor allem gab es kaum etwas, wofür sich Kinder begeistern würden. Der Sugo (Tomatensauce) war geschmackloses Konservenfrass. Wir haben woanders gegessen. Parkplätze sind auch eher wenig da. Strand ist OK, ist ehr Kies und ist zum Sandelen für Kinder wenig geeignet. Strandschlarpen wegen spitze Steine empfohlen.

Det stod att alla rum hade balkong men väl där kostade det extra om vi skulle ha rum med balkong. Det skulle även ingå shuttle till stranden. Vid utcheckning sa de att det kostade per gång. Vi slapp betala men är ändå trist. Fint hotell med pool och kvällsunderhållning för familjer. Det var vi inte inställda på så det var lite jobbigt. 08,15 drog musiken vid poolen igång. De hade även lekledare på stranden. Jättemysig personal men vi var inte inställda på charterresa så för oss blev det fel. Middagen på kvällen var katastrofal. Det var som att äta i en skolmatsal. Vi testade tom med decibelmätare. Det gick inte att prata under tiden vi åt. Det kostade ändå 20 euro per person att äta. Inte trevligt alls. Bra för barnfamiljer.

Tutto sommato mi sono trovato bene. Ho apprezzato la cortesia e disponibilità dello staff alla reception: mi hanno favorito nel darmi subito la camera anche se sono arrivato prima dell'ora stabilita per il check-in. L'hotel è nuovo e moderno. Ho fatto solo pernottamento e prima colazione per cui non ho mai mangiato in hotel. La colazione è appena nella media per un 4 stelle, buone le torte e le brioche ma non c'è molto come salato e il cappuccino dalla macchinetta non è eccezionale... Non capisco poi perchè chiudere l'accesso alla piscina dalle 13 alle 15 (pausa pranzo del bagnino?). Ah dimenticavo il posto deve essere il preferito per matrimoni e cerimonie di ogni tipo.....

Wegen diverser Straßenbauarbeiten ist die Zufahrtsbeschilderung z.Zt. chaotisch.
