"A very cosy "boutique" hotel"

10.0

A very cosy hotel in the old town of Trogir. The room and other interiors were recently renovated, clean and tidy. Service and offered breakfast were very good. The only negative was the noises from crowds in the streets during daytime and weekend night, but overall I was very satisfied with Vanjaka.

"Fantastic!"

10.0

My girlfriend and I found the Vanjaka B&B with ease as Trogir is a small place and we had good directions given to us. We were greeted by the owner Liljiana who immediately made us feel at home and we had a drink while we checked in and were given superb advice when we asked about local attractions worth visiting. We booked the Green room which was just the right size, beautifully styled and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely, local breads, cheese, strawberries, yogurt, and scrambled eggs, it definitely set us both up for a days sightseeing ! On that note Liljiana was extremely accommodating when we requested an early breakfast on a Sunday. We both loved the whole Vanjaka experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or book again.

"Nice hotel located on the island of Trogir."

10.0

Trogir is the quintessential Croatian seaside town with a lovely "old town" section on a separate island. The old town walking experience (combination of small, narrow streets, central church square and harbor front) rivaled Dubrovnik. The old town was full of interesting dining opportunities. The old town section is not car accessible but public parking for the the hotel was relatively convenient being just off the island (about 1000 meters). The owner of the Vanjaka hotel was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. Since the old town prohibits cars it difficult to find the hotel (or any old town hotel) when driving a car. A traveler should know to park in the public parking just off the island and walk to the hotel upon initial arrival. After which longer term parking arrangements can be sorted out.

"Convience and Charm"

10.0

This very cute b&b is right in thie heart of the historic part of Trogir, which is a plus and a minus. The minus is that cathedral bells and street noise are bothersome. We dealt with it by shutting the windows and the wooden shutters, though the owner also provided ear plugs. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast included fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, eggs to order, meats, cheese, and hot drinks. The owner was very helpful, providing a card so that we could park for free and printing off some material for us. A really lovely stay.

"Great place in Trogir"

Our second stay at Vanjaka. Be careful that you ask for a room with a bathroom en suite.

"Solid B&B"

8.0

We stayed here in June 2013 and enjoyed our stay! Pros: Great location in trogir although could be tricky to find at first. The hotel itself is very well kept. The staff including owner Lillijana were extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms had all the basic necessities. We frequent B & B's on our European trips ( from USA) and this was among the better ones. Breakfast was simple but tasty Cons: not many downsides. Our towels stunk a bit like smoke and the hot water only lasts about 15 mins so plan accordingly. For us Americans, beware rooms are smaller than we are used to but nothing smaller than you would find throughout Europe.

"Lovely stay in the heart of Trogir"

10.0

Location is ideal but somewhat busy being in the center of such a popular town, rooms are comfortable and clean . . . our bathroom, which was separate from our room, was amazingly well thought out. Our hostess, Ljiljana, was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great; overall a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

"Excellent"

8.0

Great central location in the old pedestrian only part of Trogir. Due to the closeness of the cathedral we were offered ear plugs, but despite not taking any, still didn't hear the bell ringing during the night. Small, simple room but good value and lovely bathroom, plus a fab breakfast! Had to pay by cash due to issue using my Australian credit card in the card reader.

"Fantastic small hotel with a personal service."

10.0

During our short tour of Croatia's Dalmatian coast this hotel was without doubt the best we stayed at. The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. A wonderful breakfast was laid on each morning for us throughout which the owner would stay and chat with her guests, making recommendations for excursions and visits.
