City's House Guest House

Well located just along from the train station - which also means that it's close to a few areas where people hang out, but nothing threatening! Good for visiting the lower town area or catching a (or arriving by) train. In terms of personnel, great reception from the ragazza who met us on arrival and showed us various places on the map to visit - thanks! Also very accommodating for letting us leave our bags a bit longer than checkout so that we didn't have to lug them about all day - grazie mille!

The place is a little gloomy and in an old building (light switches in our room were a bit broken in their holder), but it suited us for the night we spent there.

Marta is the one who checks you in and she sent me a WhatsApp ahead of that to answer questions on how to get to this place from the BGY airport. She also answered questions about where I might eat and explore the old city, since I only had about 4 hours to do that. She is the gem in this reservation, answering questions with clarity and kindness. I reserved here because it’s almost across the street from the Bergamo train station and that made it super easy for me to get on the train in the morning. Also, the fact that this neighborhood is super quiet!

I had overlooked that it was a shared bathroom lodging, which I usually don’t reserve, but they keep the bathrooms very clean and otherwise it’s a comfortable stay.

Położenie. Blisko dworca i autobusu z lotniska. Klimatynie urządzone mieszkanie w kamienicy na 2 piętrze. Ja miałam łazienkę dla siebie, bo był zajęty tylko jeszcze 1 pokój.

W kuchni ubogo w sprzęty. Mogłoby być czyściej. Nie działał wiatrak w pokoju. Brak klimatyzacji.

Good value for money in a convenient location for the station and the bus to the airport. Roberto was a very friendly and helpful host

Nothing major - bed was a little narrow and uncomfortable. Shower slightly awkward to use. Access was a bit complicated.
