We had a lovely stay with our children. Loved the big lawns where they could play and run around. Location is close to lovely wine farms as well, so that was a definite plus. Will be back!

everything was perfect. the heater was even on before we arrived to warm up the cottage. you can even braai on the stoep when it rains.

"Not bad, just not what we expected"

The unit was fine, and the security roamed the premises often. The staff were friendly.

The location was not great for us considering the roadworks going on. I booked the accommodation to be close to Vrede & Lust, where we attended a wedding. However, the road between the accommodation and the venue was closed, so we had to travel much longer than anticipated. Also, going into Franschhoek took longer. We traveled with our road bicycles, and getting to ride was difficult with the diversion, gravel road, and all the roadwork. The linked bathroom is not convenient, and the place needs some TLC. The main bed is not great, the furniture is old and stained. The cottage was fine but definitely needs some deep cleaning and better supervision in the cleaning department. The staff and lady we dealt with regarding check-in were very friendly and flexible, which was nice.
