Meteoritis Hotel

1. Slow internet access. 2. Mosquito everyway. Owner is extremely dishonest. I booked hotel with paying at hotel option. But when I arrived, he told me that Hotels.com has already charged to my credit card. I found that my card was charged more than what I am supposed to pay. When I checked out, he gave me credit card receipt. But he charged some rip-off fee which was never mentioned when I checked in and told me he would email me receipt but he failed to do it.

Such a beautiful location. The hotel was perfectly located, clean, great value and had a really nice breakfast.

The bed was squeaking and creaking with every move. No matter how small a move you made, the bed frame would squeak and creak. It got really annoying that we didn't look forward to going back to the hotel after a long day out. And the shower head had green molds (?) on it. It was quite disgusting. The customer service was excellent as the front desk lady and man was very sweet and welcoming. If only they changed the bed frame and cleaned the shower head, the stay would have been great.

The location is perfect with easy parking space.

Checked-in and gave us a room but it wasn't cleaned (trash and other things in the room). They gave us a new room so we've seen two of the rooms at the hotel. The room and furnishing feels a bit dated. It's pretty barebone but it's not bad for the area. Lobby area is nice and staff is super friendly.

Hotel is located in the next community up the hill from Kalambaka (there is also a Hotel Meteris IN Kalambaka). Area is very quiet in the off-season, requiring you to go into Kalambaka to find something to eat, for example.

The service was amazing! Everyone was so very friendly. The town was fantastic worth plenty of good restaurants to choose from.

Unfriendly staff , small rooms, so poor breakfast

The hotel is in a great location, perfect for visiting the monasteries, and easy to find. The lobby was very modern and the room was spacious, clean and in good condition. Very tidy and organized hotel. The only cons was the tight and limited parking spaces (it was high season though), and a not so great smell from the air condition. I travelled a lot this summer and stayed in many Greek 3ish star hotels and I encountered this problem a few times..the air condition, especially when first turned on, has a smell of urine.
