Hotel YIT Abentofail

This lovely little hotel has a fabulous location close to cathederal and within 15 minute walking distance to cave museum. Parking was a little difficult but managed to park quite close to the hotel. At the bottom of the stairs as you leave the hotel takes you into a square with a range of shops and bars. Very good menu del dia price of 10€ and the food was excellent. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent with a wide choice of food. We did dine in the hotel too which was very good too. Hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Easily the best stay in Spain. Kind and helpful staff. The attached restaurant is great too. The restaurant alone is worth the stop in Guadix. Pariking is tight especially since it was Holy Week

Good, centrally located traditional hotel with modern conveniences. However being near the top of the town access was via a long flight of steps which is not so good for people with mobility problems. It would have been good to have known this in advance!

Perfect central location. Tranquil retreat. Helpful staff. Immaculate room but dreadful odour in 204.

We booked a suite (one of two) for our wedding anniversary. The room has a proper wow factor. A big long attic room, stunning bath (more like a small swimming pool), big comfy bed with great pillows, a good calm feel to the room. Seperate stairs up to the suites which feels special. There's a private terrace (shared with the other suite) that has a jacuzzi. We were lucky that we had it all to ourselves all afternoon. Oh & the price!! What a bargin.

Very nice overnight stay in this very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel with an eclectic mix of old spain and modern day. Our room was large and had a helpful hob and sink if required. The restaurant food was delicious and not to be missed. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Finding the hotel and parking is easy as long as you prepare before arrival as local signage is a bit confusing - access is down a narrow street (where you will see Restaurant signage - Taberna El Buho) where cases can be offloaded and a chance of getting parked. Central location within easy reach of the cave village nearby.

We stayed here on Palm Sunday last year and got caught up in the procession so many people in the narrow streets, so we came back again this year to see more of the town. The hotel was excellent in every way. The only fault I could find was the dim lighting, there is a kitchen area and if you wanted to use it you need more light. We had half board for 2 nights, the food & wine & service was excellent, we had a good nights sleep and would recommend this hotel & restaurant

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. The place is imaculate. The quietest hotel we have stayed in in Spain. The town is quite historic and lovely. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The hotel is really clean and well maintained and the reception staff were extremely friendly and spoke English.
