Hotel Crowded House

Location and friendliness.

More blankets or a larger blanket for two people.

Perfect location to explore the local village and the Gallipoli peninsula. As kiwis the name drew us in immediately. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit old but fantastic value for money. Beaches for swimming are nearby. Many good restaurants walking distance from the hotel. The town was much less touristy which was a nice change for us coming from Istanbul.

Nice hotel at the center od Eceabat, easy to find and near ferryboat. We used our car to exploring Galipoli peninsula and to go to beaches, and for visiting city of Chanakkale it is better to go by foot (via ferry) as ticket is less then euro per person

Lack of lift

The staff were always around and would assist you if they could. Especially the person in reception, he was very caring. Paul the owner spoke English very well and really enjoyed having New Zealanders and Australians to stay. The Turkish style breakfast provided lots of choice. Really no reason to go hungry. The Hotel is really close to everything Eceabat has to offer. All in very short walking distances. The shower worked well plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable. No problem with facilities aircon etc

I was a solo traveller. My room was very compact. Even though the bed was dbl/queen it would have been extremely tight for two people to share the floor space. I felt 2 max 3 nights was suitable stay in that room even for a solo traveller. I've no knowledge of how big other rooms were. 2

It was clean. The location is at the town center. There is free parking. The beds were perfect.

There is no elevator. Our room was in the 3rd floor, and it was difficult to go up to the room and down. I would not suggest it for persons with movement problems. The rooms did not have enough space.

The staff were exceptional, stayed up late for our arrival, helped with sorting a tour for us, great with advice, extremely helpful. Took one look at our luggage and decided we would need more room so sorted another room so we were all comfortable. Location was excellent being right in town.

Rooms were comfortable but if I was trying to find something it might be that they were a little compact but certainly not an issue for us.

Friendly staff. Lovely traditional breakfast. Rooms clean and functional. The crowded house tours are brilliant
