BEGBwe stayed last year and loved it - this year we were in a room which was slightly disappointing in comparison particularly with the cleanliness, the bed was comfy though. The outside area of this hotel is great for a chill out zone although the beds can get taken quite quickly, it looks like they are ever improving the outside area by making positive additions. All in all a lovely hotel, great value however I would recommend the Luxury room over the Superior Room as there is a big difference in the 2.
We booked a room which we thought would be on par with the room we had the previous year when we stayed here which it wasn't. It was smaller and more dated, the bathroom sadly had alot of black mildew damage to the lovely sink and shower cubicle. The room we stayed in last year again was cleaned thoroughly daily this room was not treated the same way there was hair and sand on the floor for 3 days before we took the broom and swept it ourselves, one day the toilet bin bag wasn't emptied and also the loo roll not replaced, just small things which could be improved to make it a better experience for guests in the Superior rooms.
