Great view of caldera. Beautiful pool area. Awesome food in restaurant. Nice clean rooms only bad side was we got to single beds instead of a double room. But everything else made up for it. Great for the price. Watch the sunset from the restaurant!

Great staff , the hotel is newly renovated . It is located on a beautiful location overlooking the caldera , views are breath taking . They have a restaurant next door which serves the most elegant gourmet dishes at A very affordable price .

Great hotel and view . Best staff . We made a mistake of not taking a taxi but a public bus from the port. The hotel manager came and picked us up from the local bus stop in akortria. They have a restaurant next door with amazing nice friendly staff and amazing view. Also forget Oia this hotel has the best sunset view. However the hotel is located at the top of the mountain so you will need to rent your own atv , scooter or car. And the staff of hotel helps with it! Will Come back

Caldera Romantica is a lovely small hotel with an amazing view and great facilities including good length swimming pool, drink bar and a beautiful breakfast café, which has a nice terrace overseeing the coast. The rooms are very clean and pleasantly cool at night – this is exactly what we needed after a day spent in heat of the Greek sun! The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful in arranging all services you may require, from car hire (this is an absolute necessity if you are planning on seeing other parts of the island), to airport transport. Although we stayed in Caldera for only two nights, we absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend to others!

As usual, the pictures are always much nicer than the reality. The hotel has a wonderful pool and we did get an upgrade to a suite...I would hate to see the standard rooms! All in all an ok hotel for the price. Please upgrade your mattresses.

Cleanliness: spotless. Service: family-run, warm and helpful. Eager to help or organise stuff and they make good recommendations. Amenities: simple room with balcony and ensuite wetroom, pool quite a nice place to wait, as is the breakfast area overlooking the caldera. Nothing like laundry available - nearest was in Fira (or maybe Perissa) and Kamari. Air con was thankfully included. We had view of caldera from balcony and could watch the sun go down, but view on other side of the hotel is quite nice too. Location: dead quiet and non-touristic. There is a restaurant pretty much next door which we really liked (recommend the octopus), there is one other building in view and that's it. Nearest beach is Kambia (2km on dirt track) which is tiny, quiet, pebbly with sunbeds (7 euros), good for swimmers and snorkellers and has a taverna. The town of Akrotiri is just over a mile away as is the bus stop. Both are uphill on the way back. Popular Red beach is 5 min drive. as is Ancient Akrotiri; Fira, 10; Oia, 20. Favourite moment was the short drive to the end of the island where there is a lighthouse - another great place to watch the Aegean sunset, cuddled on the rocks

We stayed for three nights and were very satisfied with this hotel. It is family run and the owners are very friendly, helpful and caring. The rooms are a bit basic, but for the money we paid had everything we needed including free wi-fi. The bathroom was a bit small and there was not shower curtain (which I didn't like so much), but for the short stay it was alright. Our room was facing the street (almost zero traffic and quiet at night) with a small balcony overlooking the bay and the volcano. The area around the hotel is a bit deserted. There is one (very good) restaurant next door, but that's about it. However, if you want to explore Santorini you need to rent a form of transportation anyway. We had a car (rented through the hotel) and it was very convenient. The hospitality of the family owners would make me return there in a heartbeat. Great hotel and value for money.
