The property looks like it was an amazing place to stay in the distant past. It needs work. There were many issues with the unit I was given and had to be moved to a new unit 3 days later after trying to tell the right people the issues. This property is located on the side of a cliff, which makes for great views but you will also be walking very steep paths to the beach area and common areas to get to them. I do not recommend staying at this location if you do not have transportation. There is no uber service and taxi service was the most expensive of any country I've stayed for some reason. There are limited places to eat and purchase food from so make sure to come very prepared if you choose to stay at this property.

The views were amazing, food was good, staff was friendly, the pool was a nice vibe. Not sure why this hotel has such a high rating because those were the only good things about this place. If they actually read the reviews and put their efforts into fixing what so many people have complained about, this hotel would be soooooo perfect!!!

1. We were handed a skeleton key that had to match the exact pattern of the key hole which made it extremely difficult to get in. We had to ask a passing staff to help us. (my cousin and her husband got key cards that were deactivated before the end of their stay. They had to go back and forth several times with reception, which made us late to our scheduled excursion. Not to mention all the other negative experiences the rest of my family went through. There are so many!! We had 6 rooms in total) 2. When we finally made it into the room, we found that EVERYTHING was either was gross, old, not working, or falling apart. We found that the bedroom with the 2 beds was full of bugs/ants. We called the reception who sent someone to patch some holes and change the sheets, but we still saw ants crawling all over the walls so we ended up pulling the beds away from the wall so they wouldn't crawl on the beds again. 3. The living room TV seemed like it was hanging by a thread (i told my family DO NOT TOUCH IT!! I was afraid it would fall off the wall) 4. There was still hair in the bathrooms, the counters were dirty, the blender was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING (not that i was going to use it, but still) We ended up getting cleaning products to clean the entire apartment so we could clean to our comfort. 5. LAST AND CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, WE WOKE UP TO OUR DOOR BEING CRACKED OPEN!!!! HUGE SAFETY CONCERN!!!

Beautiful location and resort. private beach and lovely pool. Super restaurant. Not good if you have restricted movement as the apartments are set on a steep incline. A great workout for your legs to get to the pool / restaurant etc, We had a great time there.

Such a stunning property. Place is just like the pictures show. Most def a must come back for my family.

Not one single negative.

This location is absolute perfection! The view is just outstanding even during cloudy days. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are security guards all around the property which made us feel real safe. They also got mangoes and coconuts for us all for free. The buildings, as stated by other reviewers, could use a little maintenance but that would not stop me from visiting again. Dinner at their restaurant was ok but breakfast was good. We really enjoyed the walk to the beach (a workout) but well worth it and all the vegetation throughout the property. Lovely place. It's only twenty minutes from Las Galeras beach and it's a beautiful drive. Lots of restaurants in that area as well.
